Corporate, Technology And Restructuring Expert John Loughnane Joins Gadsby
Hannah LLP - Will Focus Practice on Corporate and Bankruptcy Law

BOSTON, Mass., May 19, 2003 - Gadsby Hannah LLP, a leading business and technology law firm, announced today that John G. Loughnane, who specializes in corporate and bankruptcy law, has joined the firm as a partner. Mr. Loughnane comes to the firm with deep roots in the New England legal community. He most recently served as Regional Corporate Counsel for North America for Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC) in Needham, an international software company with more than 30,000 customers and nearly 4,000 employees. At PTC, Loughnane advised management on strategic alliances, complex technology licenses, financing arrangements and business development opportunities. Prior to PTC, he had been a partner in the Corporate Department of Goodwin Procter LLP.

Loughnane will concentrate his practice in counseling corporate and technology clients, and will also bring his rich experience in directing sophisticated workouts and restructurings to the firm's business reorganization group. Mr. Loughnane has represented purchasers of assets, official committees of unsecured creditors, Chapter 7 trustees, corporate debtors, parties in preference and fraudulent transfer litigation, licensees, and other parties in reorganization and liquidation proceedings. He has represented clients in numerous bankruptcy matters throughout the country.

Mr. Loughnane received his undergraduate degree from Holy Cross and his law degree, with honors, from George Washington University, where he served as Managing Editor of The George Washington University Law Review. Loughnane is a member of the American, Massachusetts and Boston Bar Associations. He is also a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Turnaround Management Association
