WorldCom Pleading Search

Using the search form at the left you can perform full text searches of pleadings and orders in the WorldCom bankruptcy. The pleadings in this search set exclude "non-substantive" pleadings such as notices of appearances, orders with respect thereto, certificates and notices of service, etc.

By picking the appropriate choice from the search form on the left, you can request search results matching: (i) all of the words in your search, (ii) any of the words in your search, (iii) the exact phrase (i.e., "adequate protection") or (iv) a boolean query (the default) using the syntax described below. Use the "jumps to next highlight" and "jumps to previous highlight" buttons in the Adobe toolbar to navigate to hits within a document. Use the results list to navigate between documents.

Proper functioning of this search interface requires Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher and a current version of Adobe Acrobat Reader (5.0 or higher).

Note that the pleadings are in Adobe pdf format and can sometimes be quite large. The size of each pleading will be listed in the search results. Large files may take a long time to download, even on a fast link.
