McClain & Siegel Expands Bankruptcy Boutique Practice Through Addition of Millie Sall

HOUSTON, June 13, 2001/ -- The law firm of McClain & Siegel, P.C. announces the expansion of its bankruptcy practice with addition of new counsel.

Millie A. Sall has joined McClain & Siegel, P.C. as Of Counsel to the firm’s Bankruptcy and Reorganization Section, where her practice focuses on representing corporate debtors and creditors in complex chapter 11 reorganization cases.

Millie Sall has been licensed to practice law since 1989. Ms. Sall’s practice specializes on debtor/creditor rights, workouts, commercial bankruptcies, international transactions and litigation related to these areas. She has represented diverse companies in the oil and gas, real estate, retail, food and beverage, construction and manufacturing industries. For the past several years, she has actively represented Dow Corning Corporation in its mass tort driven chapter 11 proceeding.

Ms. Sall has gained gain recognition on international insolvency issues. She has authored articles in English and Spanish for speaking engagements at various international conferences in the United States and Mexico.

Ms. Sall received her doctor of jurisprudence from Vanderbilt University School of Law, Nashville, Tennessee in 1989 and her undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas in 1986. She is also currently pursuing a Masters degree in International Economic Law from the University of Houston Law Center.

Peggy L. Holland, formerly a Senior Legal Assistant at Sheinfeld, Maley & Kay, also joined McClain & Siegel, where she will continue assisting in complex chapter 11 cases. Ms. Holland has over seventeen years of expertise assisting bankruptcy professionals in complex reorganizations.
